Marilyn "Louise" Bryson

Marilyn "Louise" Bryson, 67, of Shelby, passed away March 16, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System – Cleveland.

She was born November 25, 1949 in Spartanburg County, SC, the daughter of the late Talmadge Coolidge Watts and Violet Eloise Blackwood Watts.

Louise was a lifelong member of Upper Room Tabernacle in Gastonia.  She was a loving foster parent who was always there for everyone.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Johnny Cunningham (Gina), Christopher Bryson; daughters Christine Long (Richard), Becky Hovis (Jerry), Dori Moore; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; 9 grandchildren; special grandson Philip Moore and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Bryson; granddaughter Cheri'; 2 sisters and a nephew.

A celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Norman Greene, will be held 3 pm, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Upper Room Tabernacle, 107 North Washington Street, Gastonia, NC.
