Marilou Garrett, 70, of Gastonia, passed away October 21, 2016 at Brian Center, Gastonia.

She was born October 7, 1946 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of Mary Jones and the late Loudie Garrett.

Ms. Garrett attended Parkwood Baptist Church in Gastonia.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother; and all the granddaughters agree, man could she cook.

Left to cherish her memories, in addition to her mother, are her son, Sean Ingram and wife Cindy; daughter, Shannon Leibacher and husband Dirk; sisters, Brenda Kisner and husband Jimmy, Toni Duncan and husband Tommy, and Anne Tate; grandchildren, Tori Armour and husband Andy, Caitlyn Culp, Madison Christopher, and Kyndall Christopher; great grandchild, Paisley Armour.

Services will be private.
