Marie Fowler Froneberger, 75, of Kings Mountain, made her journey to her new heavenly home, a place where there is no more sorrow or pain, on Friday December 23, at noon, surrounded by her loving family at home.
She was born September 15, 1941, in Gaston County, daughter of Louise Mae Fowler and the late Harry Alton Fowler.
Marie loved her family and church family. She was a member of Community Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Gastonia. She loved the simple things in life and had a great sense of humor. Marie never met a stranger.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Bobby Froneberger.
Left to cherish her memories, along with her mother, are her son, David Froneberger; daughters, Angie Cox and husband, Shayne, Joy Revels and husband, Danny; grandchildren, Joshua Cochran, Ashley Cochran, Nicholas Revels, Ethan Revels, Jessica Cox, Colby Cox; and great grandchildren, Abbigail Cochran, Brayden Cochran, and Caleb Cochran.
A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. John Gibbs, will be held 3pm on Tuesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd., Gastonia.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Crowders Creek ARP Church Cemetery in Gastonia.
