Maria Isabel Miranda

Maria Isabel Miranda, 67, of Gastonia, passed away August 7, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC. She was born April 14, 1953 in Managua, Nicaragua to  Ofelia Armas and the late Carlos Alberto Lezama. 

Maria was a member of Mision Cristiana Vida Abundante in Dallas, NC.  She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, working on any Christian responsibility in the congregation.  

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carlos Alberto Lezama, Jr. 

In addition to her mother, Maria is survived by her husband, Jose Gilberto Miranda; son, Moises G. Miranda; daughters, Karla M. Toval and Marisabel Gaston; brother, Juan Alberto Lezama; sisters, Miriam Lezama-Alvarado, Haydee Lezama, Ines Lezama, and Patricia Lezama-Jerez; and grandchildren, Jacob Toval, Isaack Toval, Christian Gaston, Benjamin Gaston, Lilah Miranda, and Lachlan Miranda. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Interment will follow at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
