Kings Mountain
Margie Pruitt Mason, 81, of Kings Mountain passed away on July 25, 2018, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.
She was born July 29, 1936, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Paul and Pearl Pruitt.
Mrs. Mason was a member of First Baptist Church of Bessemer City.
She retired from Danaher with over 33 years of service.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church 618 Chestnut Ridge Church Rd. Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Greg Neely and Pastor Jerry Millwood.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Burial will be at the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
Mrs. Mason is survived by daughters, Tina Louise Mullen, Tammy Michele Turner; brother, Larry Pruitt; sister, Terry Schronce; the lights of her life, grandchildren, Alex and Dylan Russell, Jordan McDaniel and Amanda Mullen; great-grandchild, Waylon Russell; special friend, Mary Smith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 53 years, Ralph Eugene Mason; daughter, Toni Patrice Berrong; brothers, Roy, Arnold and Earl Pruitt; sister, Louise Mayes.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Cleveland County 951 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby, NC 28150.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
