Margaret Pauline "Polly" Teague

Gastonia, NC - Margaret Pauline "Polly" Teague, 86, of Gastonia, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born, November 18, 1927 in Jackson County, daughter to the late John and Victoria Hall. Polly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed providing good food for her family and friends. She loved tending to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired from Pharr-Yarns after 46 years of service. Polly is survived by: her husband of 63 years, Harold L. Teague of the home; son, John L. Teague and wife, Anita of Alexis; sister, Mavis Buchanan of Warner Robbins, GA.; grandchildren, Marinda Wilkinson and husband, Tyler of Stanley, Matthew and Mara Teague of Alexis; great-grandchildren, Isabella Grace Teague Wilbanks, Porter Jeffery Wilkinson and Harrison Wallace. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: brothers, Joe and James Hall; sisters, Hazel Buchanan, Blanche Browning, Genevea Cabe and Dorothy Dalton. All services are private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
