Margaret Ann Mcclain Moore

Margaret Ann McClain Moore, 86, of Gastonia, passed away May 22, 2022, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

She was born November 11, 1935, in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Robert and Grace McClain.

Margaret was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church, Gastonia.

She ministered at various nursing homes and to the shut-in members of the church.

She was a very loving and giving lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Chapel Grove Baptist Church, 716 Camp Rotary Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Roger Overton and Mark Moore.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Bobby "Bob" Moore; son, Mark Moore (Amy); son-in-law, Mark Foy; daughter, Julia Jasso (Alvaro); ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Lynn Foy.
