Margaret Turner Head

Margaret Turner Head, 90, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at her home.
She was born September 13, 1929, in Rutherford County, daughter of the late Darvin D. Turner and Estelle (Sisk) Turner.
Margaret was the Navy wife of the late MCPO Glenn Head Sr. for 41 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor and devoted love to her family. Margaret was one of a kind.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Head Jr.; daughter, Linda Head; and siblings, David, Junior, Bill, and Donald Turner, and Deborah Coffee.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Gene Head (Donnie); daughters, Glenda Gibson (Jeff), Pam Crenshaw; daughter-in-law, Pam Ledford Head; brothers, Herman, Frank, Brannon, and Broadus Turner; sisters, Patsy Edwards, Christine Hodge, Myra Conner; and grandchildren, David Head, Jason Head, Darrell Head, Nathan Head, Cody Gibson, Danielle Daman (Roy), and Jarred Peoples; great - grandchildren, Victoria Uziel, Natalie Daman.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia. Rev. Dennis Gomez will be officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
