Margaret Inez Hannah, 98, of Kings Mountain, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 24, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Tom Franklin Ware and Nora Ross Ware. She was married to the late "Tab" Hannah for 42 years. In addition to her parents and her husband, Inez was preceded in death by her siblings, Arthur Ware, Ruby Bolin and Ruth King.

Inez was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved her family deeply and loved her church family at Love Valley Baptist Church.

Inez is survived by her daughter, Rita Gomez; three grandsons, Dennis Gomez (Isabel), Ronnie Gomez (Dawn), Timmy Gomez (Tosha); four great-grandchildren, Josh Gomez (Brooke), Jared Gomez, Kristin Gomez Wilkins (Seth), Declan Gomez; three great- great-grandchildren, Lilly, Waylon and Carter; special niece Norma King Pettus.

A funeral service will be held 6:30 pm Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Love Valley Baptist Church 2032 Bethlehem Road Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Barry Philbeck. The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 pm prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Jared Gomez, Josh Gomez, Seth Wilkins, Thomas Hurdt, Rick Owensby, Billy Hurdt. A private interment will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery.
