Margaret Elizabeth Crisp

Margaret L. Crisp, 90, of Stanley, passed away August 15, 2017 at Stanley Total Living Center.

She was born March 17, 1927 in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Arthur W. Lutz and Allie Smith Lutz.

Margaret was a member of North Gaston Church of God.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Dean Crisp and wife, Linda, Claude Crisp and wife Rose, Bobby Crisp and wife Alice, and Blair Crisp and wife Cindy; grandchildren Brian, Gregory and wife Brooke, Scott, Todd and wife Stacy, Amy and husband Brandon, Chad and wife Cassie and Matt; great-grandchildren, Emerson, Athalie, Jocelyn, Jude and Julianna.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude I. Crisp.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Andy Nicholson, will be held 11 am, Friday, August 18, 2017 at North Gaston Church of God.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Her final resting place will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Gaston Church of God, 1310 Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034.
