Margaret "Connie" Cornelius Rhyne Haney

Margaret Cornelius Rhyne Haney entered into her Heavenly home on June 29, 2023.

Margaret "Connie" was a resident of Haywood Co, but was born and raised in Dallas, NC.

She was the daughter of the late Mary Russell Rhyne and Glenn Garrison Rhyne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 3 brothers, Bob, Monroe, and Jerry Rhyne; son-in-law, Tony Bryant; and grandson, Anthony Bryant.

Margaret was a faithful member of New Hope Church of God, a loving and caring wife of 61 years, and a one of a kind all around beautiful person inside and out with a huge heart. She loved her church family and her husband, children, and great-grandchildren greatly.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband, Reverend Bobby Zell Haney; 5 children, Lorrie Bryant, Kim Haney Gaddy (Kirk), Devra Haney Black (Andy), David Haney (Debbie), and Carolyn Haney Hudson; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Scott Demers, will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
