Margaret Sutton Coggins

Dallas, NC - Margaret Sutton Coggins, 76, passed away February 5, 2014 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. She was born September 5, 1937 in Rock Hill, SC, daughter of the late Hayward and Irene Sutton. Margaret was a member of Dallas Church of God for twenty years. A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm on Saturday at Dallas Church of God - 311 S College St. Dallas, NC officiated by Rev. Danny Shortridge and Rev. Bret Davis. Visitation will be held 12:30 - 2:15 pm prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia. Margaret is survived by son, Jeffrey Coggins and wife, Leigh Ann; daughters, Teresa Bell, Kelly Laws; brothers, Rodney Sutton, Mike Sutton; sisters, Debbie Shaw, Pansy Bobo, Nedra Kiser; grandchildren, Brandon Bell, Amanda Bradley, Ashley Ray, Hunter Coggins; great-grandchildren, Myles Bradley and Lilly Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Coggins; sister, Monteen West and brother, Jerry Sutton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Dallas Church of God -311 S College St. Dallas, NC 28034. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
