Margaret Branch

Margaret Bernice Branch, age 63, of Gastonia, lost her long battle with cancer on Friday, December 5, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Daughter of the late John Walter Cooper Sr. and Wilhelmina Weber Cooper, she was born October 12, 1951 in Savannah, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Cooper Jr. and sister, Olivia Warren. Mrs. Branch is survived by her husband, Anthony Branch of the home; children, Angela Culbertson and husband James of Dallas, Joseph Branch and wife Ashley of Gastonia; sister, Joyce Johnson of Savannah, GA; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, December 8, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, December 9, at the funeral home. The service will be officiated by Rev. Mr. John Weisenhorn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave, Charlotte, NC 28207 Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
