Margaret Adcock Botts

Margaret Adcock Botts, 92, of Belmont, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015, at Morningside Assisted Loving in Gastonia. She was born March 2, 1923, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Charlie Adcock and Gertrude Guy Adcock. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Hospice of Gaston County and Morningside Assisted Living for their care. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Botts and sister, Bernice Adcock. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters Jerrie Rector and husband Ken of Cramerton, Ann Baucom and husband Roger of Gastonia; brother, Charles Lee Adcock of Granite Falls; sister, Catherine Payne of Atwater, CA; grandchildren, Dr. Tim Rector of West Jefferson, Blair Rector of Cramerton, Randy Baucom of Gastonia; and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3pm on Sunday at the First Baptist Church or Belmont, 23 N Central Ave, Belmont, officiating the Rev. Robert Baker. The family will receive friends 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday at the church. Interment is private.
