Margaret Prince Black

Margaret Prince Black, 74, of Dallas, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Fannin County, Georgia on July 1, 1949, to the late Lush and Ora Prince.

Margaret retired from Wix with 28 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Steve Prince; sisters, Marie Hill, Amanda McDaniel, Alice Brown; former husband, Steve Black; and granddaughter, Tara Martin

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Monica Casanave (Phil), Clarissa Black (R.C.); sister, Vergean Noblett; grandchildren, Megan Riley, Matt Cobb (Madison), Megan Martin Abernathy (Cody); great-grandchildren, Bentley Pruitt, Noah Moxley, Lincoln Pruitt, Arihana Pruitt, Weston Abernathy, Paisley Abernathy, Memphis Cobb; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service officiated by Jamie Jones will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024, 3:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S, York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 6 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service Sunday at Hollywood Cemetery, 540 N. Broad St., Gastonia.
