Marcos Antonio Cruz Cano

May 27, 1989 — May 15, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcos Antonio Cruz Cano, who left us too soon on May 15, 2026, at the age of 36. Born on May 27, 1989, in Las Chopas, Veracruz, Mexico, Marcos lived a life full of passion and joy, always embracing family and friends with a warm heart.

Marcos was known for his vibrant spirit and love of life. He was a dedicated tree trimmer, where he poured his heart into his work. But what truly set him apart was his zest for life outside of the job. He loved nothing more than spending quality time with his family, and he never missed an opportunity to show off his cowboy hats and boots at the rodeo.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Rosa Elena Gomez; children, Erick Cruz, Dafne Cruz, and Marco Abel Cruz; his loving mother, Rosa Cano (Miguel Ruiz); and his siblings, Rigoberto Cano, Sergio Cano, Ramiro Cano, and Rosario Cano; numerous nieces and nephews. Together, they will carry forward the legacy of laughter and love that Marcos brought to their lives.

Marcos was preceded in death by his father, Ramiro Cruz.

Friends and family will gather to honor Marcos with a Visitation at Iglesia Monte Calvario on Saturday, May 23, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. A Graveside Service will take place at Hollywood Cemetery on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM, where we will lay Marcos to rest.

As we say our goodbyes, let us remember the joy Marcos brought into our lives and the many memories we shared. His spirit will continue to live on in our hearts, forever guiding us with love.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service. The family welcomes you to share stories and condolences online at www.greenefuneral.com
