Marcella Campbell

Marcella Campbell, 82, of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at her residence.

A native of Gaston County, born on August 1, 1939, she was a daughter to the late Maury Mable and Edna Vincent Holland.

Marcella was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Lowell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Campbell, Sr.; daughter, Debra Hedrick ; and brother and sisters.

Left to cherish Marcella's memories are her sons, Robert "Bo" Eugene Campbell, Jr.; daughter, Sissy Campbell; son-in-law, Glenn Hedrick; grandchildren, Michelle Hice, Nichole Hedrick, Joshua Campbell, McKenzie Bowkler, and Justin Hedrick; and great grandchildren, Robert Canaan Campbell, Aqua Campbell, Matthew Hice, Sarah Hice, Xandor Hedrick and Cannon Hedrick.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carolina Caring Palliative Medicine Clinic – 2682 Court Dr Suite B, Gastonia, NC 28054.
