Manh Saythany, 79, of Belmont, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
He was born May 3, 1941, in Laos.
Manh was a former Colonel in the Royal Lao Army. He came to the United States with his family in 1979.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Bounmy Saythany; sons, Johndy Saythany, Knight Saythany, Somphon Saythany, Boutsaraj Saythany, Khamhue Saythany; daughter, Naly Nicholas, Manychanh Parsons, and Savongvanh Blosser; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A private gathering will be held by the family.
Interment is private.
