Magdalena Ruiz

Magdalena Ruiz, 61 years old, passed away January 6, 2025, at Hospice at Carolina Foothills.

She was a resident of Lawndale, NC, daughter of the late Antonio Lillo and Angelica Gonzalez.

Magdalena has a deep appreciation for the outdoors, finds joy in dancing and singing, treasures her family, and holds her faith close to her heart. She is very giving and loving. She would give the shirt off of her back.

She is preceded in death by her husband Israel Ruiz; Baby Ruiz; brothers, Carlos and Leo Lillo; and granddaughter, Caylipso J. Ruiz.

Those that are still living include her sons and daughter in laws, Israel Ruiz Jr. (Candy), Juan Ruiz (Peggy), Roberto Ruiz (Yasner) and Joseph Ruiz (Fernanda); daughter, Samantha Ruiz; sister, Antonia Roman; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be 3-5pm, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
