Magda "Malta" Raquel Torres, 50, of Gastonia, passed away July 16, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

She was born December 17, 1965 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, daughter of Juan Santos Torres and Raquel Batista Perez.

A private interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
