Maevis Ferguson, 22, of Gastonia, NC passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at Atrium in Charlotte, NC.
Maevis was born on December 25, 1997 in Fort Stewart, GA.
Maevis dearly loved spending time with her family, friends and 2 "Fur Babies", Diamond and Midnight. She enjoyed painting, music, dancing and hiking. She was a great storyteller and easily made people laugh. She truly lived her life to the fullest.
Maevis was preceded in death by her late paternal grandparents, Harvey Ferguson and Rhonda Stillwell.
Left to cherish her memories, she is survived by her mother and step-father, Rachel Thomas and husband Evan, her father and step-mother, Robert Ferguson and wife Ashley; her brothers, Emory Hayes and Beckett Ferguson; and sisters, Taylor Ferguson, Kassidy Ferguson and Elliot Ferguson; maternal grandparents, Hank Walker and wife, Merry Jo and great paternal grandmother, Laura Barnette; and a special friend Kennedy Killette.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, South Chapel, 1503 South York Road, Gastonia, NC.
