Mae Coffey

Mae Coffey, 89, of Dallas, NC, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, at her residence.

She was born August 16, 1934, in Cherokee Co, NC, daughter of the late Grant and Emma Crisp Griggs.

Mae was a hard worker, and she always put others before herself. She loved her family, and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  Mae was such a wise woman who gave reliable guidance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Zeb Coffey; sisters, Francis, Pearl, and Linda; and brothers, Vincent, Porter, Gene, Marcell, and Grant, Jr.

Mae is survived by her son, Gary Coffey; daughter, Sharon Braswell and husband Wade; brothers, Charles Griggs, Robert Griggs, and Mickey Griggs; grandchildren, Colt Coffey and fiancé Courtney Foster, and Dylan Braswell and wife Nicole; and greatgrandchild, Blaiz Braswell.
