Madaline "Mane" Wilemon

Madaline "Mane" Rice Wilemon, 77, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her home.

She was born August 16, 1938, in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late George Franklin Rice, Sr. and Gladys Elizabeth Deaton.

Mane loved her family and never met a stranger. She had a big heart and cared for others.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wilemon and sister, Linda Kay Hendricks.

Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Bobby Rice and George Rice, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10am on Monday at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte.

The family will receive friends 4-6pm on Sunday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd., Gastonia.
