Mable Jones

Mable Jones, 103, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her residence.

She was born December 21, 1920, in Gaston County.

Mable loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a faithful member of Linwood Church of God in Gastonia since 1978, where she had perfect attendance in Sunday School for 33 years. She was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. She volunteered at the meal site in Gaston County, NC. Mable was an avid walker. Even in the nursing home, she walked unaided for many years. To the best of our knowledge, she out-lived all of her family.

She is survived by her special friends, Patsy Keesling and Kathy Franklin.

A graveside service officiated by Reverend Sam Barnette, will be held Friday, March 8, 2024, 11:00 am, at Gaston Memorial Park.
