Mabel Davis Colvin

Mabel Davis Colvin, 85, of Bessemer City, passed away on September 20, 2017 at Alexandria Place, Gastonia.
She was born April 23, 1932, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Haskel and Orabell Clark Davis.
Mrs. Colvin was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Gastonia.
A graveside service will be held  11:30 am Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood.
Mrs. Colvin is survived by children,, Jimmy Lee Colvin and wife, Sue Anne of Bessemer City, Curtis "Tony" Colvin Jr.  and wife, Sharon of Kings Mountain;  Ann Bridges and husband, Pat , Treva Deck and husband,  Bill, all of Bessemer City, Sandra Phillips and husband, Doug of Lenior; grandchildren, Shawn Colvin, Paige Falls, Misty Rumney, Jason Hollingshead, Cameo Hollingshead, Mandi Bridges, Rusty Bridges, Adam Deck, Amber Deck, Dustin Phillips, Ashley Hastings; eight great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 ½ years, Curtis Lincoln Colvin Sr.;  brothers, Rufus, Plato, Paul,  and Dewey Davis; sisters, Margaret Phillips, Beatrice Shook.
