Lynda R. Gunter Shedd

Lynda R. Gunter Shedd, 66, of Lakeland Florida, passed away February 19, 2014 at the Lakeland Hospice House. She was born May 27, 1947 in Lakeland, Florida daughter of the late Glenn Gunter and Vera Crosby Gunter. Lynda was a devoted wife and loving mother, excellent nurse, artist and good friend to many. She was a Godly woman with a "Big" heart. She was a member of Carpenter's Home. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 South New Hope Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette Lynda is survived by: her loving husband of 49 years, Don Shedd; daughters, Stella S. Lingerfeldt (Neal) , Chrissy Shedd all of Gastonia; brother, Jimmie Gunter; grandchildren, Thea, Destin, and Owen Shedd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: son, Jason Shedd; brother, Eddie Gunter. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
