Lula Annette Griggs

Lula Annette Griggs, 78, of Dallas, passed away March 12, 2016 at her residence.

She was born June 18, 1937, in Fairfield County, SC, the daughter of the late Fletcher and Inez Truesdale.

Mrs. Griggs loved her family and loved the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Griggs and her daughter, Annette Medford.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Marshall Medford and wife, Rachel; daughter, Patricia (Fredlene) Seate and husband, William; brother, TJ Truesdale; sister, Elmarie Russell; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Eric Griffin, will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
