Lugene White Spencer, 86, of Gastonia, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Greeneville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC.
She was born August 23, 1933, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Grady White and Ruth Pervine White.
Lugene and her late husband, Earl Spencer, enjoyed shagging and listening to music.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John Eric Hutchins; grandson, Johnny Michael King; great grandson, Jamie Michael Baugher; and sister, Catherine.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Phyllis White and husband Terry, Jena Williams and husband, Buddy; grandchildren, Travis White, Kelly Primer, Angel Clampitt, Shane Williams, and Tammy Willimas; 10 great grandchildren; and 6 great, great grandchildren.
A private graveside service is being held by the family at Westview Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer City.
