Lucinda "Cindy" Jane Harrison Brooks

Lucinda (Cindy) Jane Harrison Brooks she went to her heavenly home to be with her loved ones who had passed before her on Friday March 28th.

She was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.  She spent many years working and serving the students at Gaston College where she retired. She was a graduate of West Mecklenburg, Charlotte. She was a devoted mother, and sister to all of her family and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Minnie Harrison; her husband, Alexander Brooks; and her son, David Brooks.

She is survived by her fur baby, Ralphie; siblings, Junie, Bobby, and Eric Harrison and Debrah Martin (Andy); sons, Andre (Andrea), Steven (Sissy); 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

As per her wishes, traditional funeral services were waved to have a celebration of her life gathering 7:00-9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, a charity of ones choice in Cindy's memory.
