Lucille Parker Bolin Hicks

Lucille Parker Bolin Hicks, 90, of Kings Mountain, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at White Oak Manor.

She was born on April 13, 1930, in Hickory Grove, SC to the late John "Chick" Parker and Addie Dover Parker.

Lucille retired from Parkdale Mill as a winder tech.

In addition to her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Bolin and Arthur Hicks; sisters, Wilma Orr and Carrie Parker; brothers, Lester, Forrest, Walt, John Raymond, and Robert Parker; and granddaughter Crystal M. Barneycastle.

Left to cherish her memories are children, Peggy Brackett and husband Ray of Gastonia, NC, Pat Buchanan of Conway, SC, and John Bolin and wife Melinda of York, SC; grandchildren Chase, Andrea, Randy, Samantha, Jennifer, and Brandon; seven great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at 4:00-6:00pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC. The family asks that social distancing and mask are respected during the service.
