Lowell Floyd Henry Sr

Lowell Floyd Henry, Sr., 81, of Gaffney, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Magnolias of Gaffney.

He was born in Dyersburg, TN to the late John Robert and Ruth Olivia Reynolds Henry on February 21, 1939.

Mr. Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He loved to travel and visit with his family.  He was a long-time member of Living Word Tabernacle in Bessemer City, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ilene Henry; and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Henry is survived by a son, Lowell Henry, Jr., and wife Connie; daughters, Debra Flontek and husband Mitchell, Linda Humes and husband Joseph, Ruth Carlson and husband Allan, Joyce Lanning and husband Charles, Cheryl Humes and husband Tim, and Carol Raymond and husband Mark; a brother, Clyde Gasser; and sisters, Brenda Moilanen, Betty Householder, Rachel Chambless and husband Ritchie, and Ruth Ann Allen; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
