Louise "Lou" Prince Mitchell

Louise "Lou" Prince Mitchell went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021.

She was born on September 6th, 1942, daughter of the late Jesse Burt Prince and Lillian Campbell Prince.

Louise, known by most as Mrs. Lou, was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, pastor's wife, prayer warrior, co-founder and co-pastor of Fathers House of Worship, a dear friend to many. She was known for her devoted love to her Lord and Savior, and her family; as well as her gracious and compassionate heart for others.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn M Prince, Harold W Prince, Hollis R Prince, Parker Prince, and Billy Prince; sisters, Mildred "Midge" P Anthony, Polly J Slaton, Helen G Prince, Ethel Prince, and Evelyn Prince.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 39 years, Rev. Roger J. Mitchell; daughter, Angie English and husband Mitchell; son, Mike Wallace and wife Valerie; grandchildren, Rev. Devin English and wife Kaylynn, Emily and Ashlyn English, and Tori and Madi Wallace; brother, Melvin Prince; several nieces and nephews; many friends, and her beloved church family.

A service of celebration will be held 7pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at her home church, The Father's House of Worship- 527 Bunker Hill Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to the ministries of The Father's House of Worship - 522 Burrington Court, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
