Louise Treadaway Lunsford

Louise Treadaway Lunsford, 83, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Robin Johnson Hospice House.

She was born January 30, 1938, in Lumpkin County, GA, daughter of the late Wiley and Bonnie Treadaway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Wade Lunsford.

Louise was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her brother, Harmon Junior Treadaway; sisters, Doris Treadaway Welch and husband Steve, Barbara Treadaway Clinton; nieces and nephews, Steve Welch Jr., Kelly Welch, Penny Vowell, Crissy Scronce, and Elizabeth McCluney.

The family would like to thank a special neighbor, Cindy, for her love and care over the years. They would also like to thank CRMC 5 South and the Robin Johnson House for their care of Louise.

All services will be private.
