Louis David Riggs, 59, of Lincolnton passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at his home.
He was born January 18, 1958 in Charleston, SC, son of the late David Hugh Riggs and Jewell Claire (Goldfinch) Riggs.
Louis had a NC State Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering. He was also an avid motorcyclist.
Left to cherish his memories are is son Sean Riggs; brothers Jerry Riggs and Brad Riggs.
In addition to his parents Louis is preceded in death by his wife Leigh-Ann Riggs.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Road, Gastonia.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis, Greater Carolinas Chapter, 3101 Industrial Drive, Suite 210, Raleigh, NC 27609.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
