**Obituary for Loretta Ruth Rose**

Loretta Ruth Rose, a beloved sister and friend, passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on January 27, 1947, in North Carolina, Loretta spent most of her life in the heart of Maggie Valley, where she then moved to Lowell, NC, where she made a lasting impact in her community as a dedicated realtor.

Loretta was known for her warm spirit and her passion for helping others find their dream homes. She loved connecting with people, and her friendly personality made her a favorite in the real estate world. Beyond her career, she loved and cherished spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter and creating memories that will continue to warm the hearts of those she knew.

Loretta is survived by her brothers, Joseph Sides, Fred Sides (Joyce), Richard Sides, and Keith Sides; and numerous nieces and nephews, who will carry on her legacy of kindness and love.

All services are private.

While tears will be shed, there will also be plenty of smiles and laughter as we remember Loretta and the indelible mark she left on everyone she met.

She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Godfrey Sides and Lois Pitts Sides; and sister, Judith Sides.
