Lonnie Arnold Heafner, 61, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 25, 1956, a native of Gaston County, son of Marlene Jones Heafner and the late Ned Arnold Heafner.
Lonnie loved his family, cars, and motorcycles.
Left to cherish his memories in addition to his mother are his daughter, Logan McCombs; brothers, Terry L. Heafner and wife Elaine and Alan C. Heafner and wife Crystal.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church, with the Rev. Cecil Spry, Rev. Brian Spargo and Pastor Ralph Carver officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church, 2128 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
