Lois "Faye" Lamb

Lois "Faye" Rimmer Lamb, 76, of Gastonia, passed away June 8, 2017 at Alexandria Place in Gastonia.

She was born October 17, 1940, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Othar Rimmer and Sarah Jennings Rimmer.

Survivors include:  sons David Rimmer; Roger Rimmer and wife Teresa all of Lincolnton; grandchildren Joe Rimmer and wife Dawn of Gastonia; Michael Rimmer of Gastonia; Savannah Rimmer of Clover, SC; Jessica Mathis of Newton; great-grandchildren Jacob, Chase, Tony, Kailey Rimmer of Gastonia; Julian Carpenter of Lincolnton, Hailey Carpenter of Mt. Holly; Kayden Barr of Charlotte; sisters and brother Neita R. Gunn of Clover, SC; Lena R. Gunn of Cherryville; brother Othar "Buck" Wood and wife Gail of Rocky Mountain, NC; best friends Doris Lemmons and Martha Cash.

She was preceded in death by her son Gary Rimmer; sisters Katherine R. Burke; Gwedolyn R. Meadows; husband James Lamb.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastors Lamar Creel and Lewis Gunn Jr., will be held 2 pm, Monday June 12, 2017 at 1st Assembly of God - 777 S Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
