Liz Neill Jenkins

Liz Neill Jenkins, 70, of Gastonia passed away on June 10, 2013 at her home. She was born August 7, 1942 in Gaston County daughter of the late Roy Zeb Neill and Thelma Kennedy Camp. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Midway Baptist Church now known as Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family would like to give special thanks to Gaston Hospice for their care of Mrs. Jenkins. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Campus, 2782 Fairview Dr. Gastonia officiated by Pastor. Dickie Spargo.and Rev. Walt Griggs. The family will receive friends 1:00- 3:00 pm at the church on Saturday. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery Mausoleum, Gastonia. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by: her loving husband of 52 years, Morris Jenkins of the home; son, Morris Christopher Jenkins and wife Renee of Gastonia; daughters, Debbie Jenkins Kelly and husband Pat of Cherryville, Lisa Jenkins Glover and husband Jimmy of Gastonia; grandchildren, Jason Kelly and wife Amy, Brad Kelly and wife Erica, Christopher Cowart, Josh Jenkins, Jonathan and Taylor Glover; great grandchildren, Carson, Cole, Madison and Paylin Kelly; nephew, Steve Beam and wife Susan and their family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: sister, Maida Beam. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Gaston Hospice P.O. Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054.
