Lisa Irene Worthy

Lisa Irene Worthy, 50, of Shelby, passed away, March 7, 2015, at her residence. She was born May 19, 1964, in Gaston County, daughter of the late George William Worthy and Carolyn Padgett Worthy. Lisa was a very loving mother, who always had a smile on her face. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Gary Carswell, Jr., Quentin Carswell and wife, Ashley; daughters, Janice Carswell, Amber Stone and husband, John; brothers, William Worthy, Billy Worthy and wife, Kelly; Rhonda Stallings, Johnny Worthy; and 11 grandchildren. The memorial service will be held 4:30 pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., officiated by the Rev. John Pendleton. The family will receive friends 3:30 - 4:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment is private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
