Lisa Lynnette Warner

Lisa Lynnette Warner, 56, of Bessemer City, passed away June 10, 2023, at her home.

She was born August 20, 1966, in Gaston County, daughter of Douglas Edward Cobb and Frances Hamrick Thornburg.

Lisa loved spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren.

She had retired from the Gaston County Sheriff's Office where she had worked as a detention officer for 21 years.

She enjoyed doing all types of arts and crafts, but cross stitching was her favorite.

All services will be private.

In addition to her father and mother Douglas Cobb and Frances Thornburg, Lisa is survived by her daughter, Katherine Warner of Lincolnton; brother, Jonathon Cobb (Dawn); half-sister, Jennifer Cobb; stepsister, Rhonda Massey; grandchildren, Leighton Warner, Waylon Rose; nieces, Ally Cobb, Abby Millen, Alyssa Millen Easler; fur baby, Scooter; numerous cousins and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert W. Thornburg.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service located at 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia.
