Lisa "Nana" Michelle Walters, 52, of Gastonia, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
She was born May 18, 1966, a native of Gaston County, daughter of Wilbur Eugene Walters and Jeanette Huffstetler Walters.
Lisa worked for Wix Filtration for over 30 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister and she loved knitting.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancé, David Bridges; daughters, Jessica Lewallen, Holly Wiggins and husband Lester, and Miranda Lewallen; sisters, Pam Long, Terri Stamey, and Kelly Walters; grandchildren, Lacey, Lena, Alyssa, Brayden, Hunter, Korky, and Christian.
A funeral service officiated by the Rev. Ray Walters, will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia NC 28052.
Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
Memorials may be made to Levine Cancer Institute – 1021 Moorehead Medical Dr., Charlotte, NC 28204.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium of Gastonia.
