Linda Timpe

Linda Carol Phillips Timpe, 69, of Lincolnton, passed away on September 4, 2020, at her residence.

She was born September 9,1950, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Carlton Phillips and Ella Mae Williams Harwell.

Mrs. Timpe was involved in the ASPCA, St. Jude, and Wounded Warriors.

She worked as an LPN with Gaston County Home Health Care.

She was a ham radio operator and a big Dallas Cowboys fan.

Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Frady.

Mrs. Timpe is survived by her Husband of 27 years, Mark "Mel" Timpe; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Brandy Stone, Phillip and Allison Timpe, Matthew Timpe; daughters and son-in-law, Melissa and Kevin Null, Amber Timpe; brothers and sisters-in-law, David Phillips, Tim Phillips and Bev, Mike Frady and Tammy; sister-in-law, Penny Frady; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Sunday, September 13, at the residence .

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
