Linda Arrowood Stroup

Linda Arrowood Stroup, 58, of Kings Mountain, passed away on January 5, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. She was born November 3, 1956 in Toluca, NC daughter of the late Elmer Arrowood and Katherine Hayes Arrowood. Mrs. Stroup was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, who cherished her family. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Kevin Mathis. The family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain. Mrs. Stroup is survived by sons, Jessie Stroup (Vickey), Quinton Stroup; daughters, Amy Foster (Steve), Casey Stroup; brothers, David Arrowood (Kim), Danny Arrowood; grandchildren, Summer Moore, Courtney Stroup,Tyler Stroup, Gregory Foster, Kenneth Smith, Brionna Foster, Katherine Smith, Bradley Gladden, Owen Stroup, Dixon Stroup; great- grandchildren, Braxton and Kaylee Weeks, Addy Beaver; uncle, James Kiser; aunts, Iown Towery, Aileen Hayes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Carolyn Kiser, Ed Hayes, Voyd Hayes, Ruth Bowen (Dub), Anderson Hayes (Nell), Rayford Towery, Roy "Peewee" Hayes, Jean Arrowood (Marvin), Jeanette Arrowood (Otis) Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
