Linda Sue Stevens

Linda Sue Stevens, 65, of Mt. Holly, passed away February 28, 2016 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

A Gaston County native, she was born March 8, 1950, daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Waters.

Mrs. Stevens was of the Free Will Baptist faith and attended various churches.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mindy Michelle Stevens; and sister, Libby Waters.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of over 49 years, Albert Stevens of the home; son, Matthew Stevens and wife Talon Ledford Stevens of Gastonia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald "Demp" Waters and wife Judy of Lowell, Clarence "Jabo" Waters and wife Karen of Zebulon, Carl Waters Jr. and wife Kay of Gastonia; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene Campbell and husband Kenneth of Belmont.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jeremy Carson, will be held at 2 pm on Thursday at Ranlo Freewill Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Cemetery.
