Linda Smith

Linda Spivey Smith, 72, of Kings Mountain, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

She was born September 20, 1949, in Columbus County, NC, daughter of the late Grover and Emma Spivey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Spivey.

Linda was a faithful member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed taking care of her husband and family, and she loved the Lord.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Jeff Smith; son, Gerald Smith (Becky); grandchildren, Zachary, Layne, and Joshua Smith; brothers, Charles Spivey (Kay), Ronald Spivey (Connie), Gene Spivey; sister, Janet Hardwick (Billy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastors Brian Spargo and Barry Philbeck, will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Independent Baptist Tabernacle in Dallas.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
