Linda Darlene Ray, 64, of Kings Mountain passed away October 16, 2014 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born August 22, 1950 in Connecticut, daughter of the late Jim Chapman and Perry Ashburn Chapman. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Ray is survived by: her husband, Harold Keith Ray Sr.; children, Shera Donna Somero, Beverly Starr Dove, Mary Alice Mercer, and Harold Keith Ray Jr; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, three brothers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: a brother. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Cleveland County Hospice c/o Kings Mountain Hospice House 951 Wendover Heights Drive Shelby, NC 28150 Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
