Linda Jean Nash

Linda Jean Nash, 75, of Maryville, TN passed away on October 21, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday October 29th, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Greene Funeral Service 1503 South York Rd Gastonia, NC.

Linda was born in Asheboro, NC to the late Paul Theodore and Elizabeth Frye Cooper. She was a professional secretary for over 25 years, served in the US Army and Army reserves for 18 years, as well as a long-time waitress at "The Captains Cap" seafood restaurant where she made many memories and friends.

Linda is survived by her daughter Jeannie Lingerfelt, sons, Ronnie (Ann) of Tennessee and Jerry Nash (Dianne); sister, Shirley Alger (John); seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was recently preceded in death by her beloved Shih Tzu, Bandit, whose birthday was the day she reunited with him in heaven.
