Linda Jo Moore

Linda Jo Moore, 75, of Kings Mountain, NC, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Novant Presbyterian in Charlotte.

She was born in Frankfort, Kentucky, on October 29, 1949, to the late Orville and Leona Newton Sanderson.

Linda was a member of Heaven Bound Baptist Church in Bessemer City where she served her Lord faithfully. She loved to travel. Linda especially loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Doug Sanderson and her sister Martha Smith.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of over 57 years, Bill Moore; her son, Jason Moore (Keshia); daughter, Amy Griffith (Ben); brother, David Sanderson (Mary); sisters, Rose Mary Sanderson, Paula Round, Betty Carrier, Geri Sanderson, Jane Barnett, Wanda Carris (Dennis), Judy Wingate; nine grandchildren, Seth Griffith (Hali), Chris Griffith (Leah), Josh Griffith, Caleb Griffith, Eli Griffith, Luke Griffith, Meghan Moore, Kaity Smith (Michael), Kenzi Moore; eight great-grandchildren, Noah Griffith, Adyn Griffith, Micah Griffith, Kyleigh Vause, Maddie Vause, Amelia Smith, Oliver Smith, Emersyn Smith; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 2:00 PM, at Heaven Bound Baptist Church, 428 Costner School Road, Bessemer City.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 9, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the church.

The burial will follow the service at Westview Gardens Cemetery in Bessemer City.
