Linda Gail Mills

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Jenkins Mills, who left us peacefully on August 23, 2025, just a day after her 81st birthday. Residing in Dallas, NC, Linda was a loving wife to Richard Mills and an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Linda was a true artisan at heart - she loved to quilt and sew, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her warmth and creativity. She could often be found with a tablet in hand, adding splashes of color to her world. Her faith in Jesus was an integral part of her life, and she was an active member of the Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, where she formed cherished friendships and found comfort.

A devoted family woman, Linda adored her grandchildren and made countless memories with them. Though she could not swim, she had a deep love for the beach, where she enjoyed soaking in the sun and listening to the waves.

Left to cherish Linda's memories are her husband of 64 years, Richard Mills; children, Tammy Blackwood (Todd), Richie Mills (Becky), and Cindy Harrington (Jerry); grandchildren, Todd Blackwood II (Amber), Drew Harrington (Devin), Jessica Miller (Duce), Victoria Holland (Justin), Savannah Harrington, Big Nate Mills, Little Nate Mills, and Sebe Mills; great grandchildren, Hayden Blackwood, Riley Miller, and Kiley Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Carrie Jenkins; 8 siblings.

Join us as we celebrate Linda's life and legacy during visitation at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, 1026 Dallas Stanley Hwy, Dallas, NC, 28034, on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service starting at 11:00 AM.

Linda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those she touched.
