Linda Mcpherson

Linda Martin McPherson, 77, of Gastonia, passed away February 5, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

A Gaston County native, she was born October 28, 1943, daughter of the late Woodrow and Louise Martin.

Linda was the "Best Mom" and a loving nana.

A very loving and compassionate person, she was employed with Gaston Skills for over 53 years.

She loved her staff and the clients of Gaston Skills.

She loved the beach and the mountains and enjoyed golf cart rides.

She attended Salem Baptist Church in Gastonia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry McPherson.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Eric McPherson and wife Heidi; daughter, Kammie Monk and husband Paul; bonus daughter, Laura Gallardo and husband Nic; grandchildren, Drew and Wesley McPherson, Karrigan, Karsyn, and Kyndle Monk, and Ruby Gallardo; sisters, JoAnn Raxter, Gerita Steene, and Terry Mason.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Junior Morris, will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, February 9 at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 8, from 4 until 6 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Skills, 1301 Bessemer City Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.
